Ibrahim Maalouf returns to Italy with an exceptional ensemble, enhanced by the sound of The Trumpets of Michel-Ange, scheduled for Wednesday, November 4, at the Teatro Arcimboldi in Milan.

With two prestigious GRAMMY Award nominations, Ibrahim Maalouf presents his 19th album, a project of extraordinary innovation. From a philosophical, historical, and musical point of view, T.O.M.A. – an acronym for Trumpets of Michel-Ange – is a great adventure that takes the listener into a universe where folklore and modernity merge into a single vision.

As always, Maalouf’s music strikes the perfect balance between sophistication and accessibility, proving both stimulating and welcoming to a wide and diverse audience.

T.O.M.A. is first and foremost a hybrid album, a veritable melting pot of influences, in which the festive and nostalgic East expresses itself with rare freedom.

This project is also the name of Ibrahim Maalouf’s new brand of trumpets. Designed by Ibrahim together with luthier A. Jaminet, in collaboration with Antoine Courtois of the French group Buffet Crampon, this new instrument was created with the aim of encouraging trumpet players around the world to take an interest in this musical revolution. It is a great celebration that brings together different generations, amateurs and professionals, along with special guests.
